Florham Park

Florham Park is situated some 30 miles west of New York City. The community covers just 7.6 square miles and has a population of just over 12,500. Several large corporations have their offices here and the New York Jets have chosen to locate their new training facility and headquarters in the town. However, the neighborhood remains quiet with a small- town feel, and the surrounding countryside easily accessible.

It is regarded as a great place to raise a family, with three excellent public schools, two university campuses and a wide range of recreational facilities. It is also popular with young professionals and retirees who appreciate the community’s friendliness and its strong tradition of volunteering. The wide range of annual social activities which take place in the town add to the strong sense of community.

Florham Park downtown offers a wide range of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, banks and parks. There are some delightful historic buildings including the library and the Little Red School House, which hosts community events.

There is a range of housing in the town from affordable apartments to large, detached houses. The most recent median price of homes in Florham Park is $737K, up nearly 9% from last year.

Commuting from Florham Park to NYC is easy. Although Florham Park doesn’t have its own station, the New Jersey Transit station at Chatham is only a ten-minute drive away. The town is served by bus routes which link to the nearby New Jersey Transit rail stations and the NYC suburbs.
